Yakima Button Down 6

Button Downs were born from Yakima's frustration trying to get "latch type" ski mounts closed or open in the winter. So they came up with a ratcheting mechanism that closes easily, put in big, visible red buttons that open the rack with a simple push(even with gloves on), and added 30% more carrying capacity. The result is the best made, best looking, easiest to use rack on the market. Pushbutton opening, one-handed closing; will carry 6 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards side by side; or 4 snowboards bottom to bottom (with roof clearance). It can be turned on side when not in use for better aerodynamics; fits on factory racks with Mighty Mounts; cannot be removed from rack when the mount is in "down and locked" position; Wing compatible; lockable with SKS cores.
