We have just signed a long-term licensing agreement with Greg Lemond to produce a line of road bikes and bike accessories under (using) his name. We plan to offer this line primarily through the Fisher dealer network, where it will complement the Fisher mountain bike line.

Greg Lemond is the most prestigious name in road racing, a name that is widely recognized by the biking public. Our deal with him creates a great opportunity for you to increase store traffic and grow your business. Under terms of the agreement, Greg will be working closely with us to design, test, and promote the new line. The Lemond line will include a few OCLV frames at the high end of the price range as well as all-steel bikes. We have developed a few prototype Lemond bikes, which are un-veiled at our distributor meeting in Breckenridge, Colo., this week. We expect that the full Lemond line will be available to dealers in January.

Greg has always been an innovator and an experimenter with new racing techniques and technology. We couldn't be happier to have signed this licensing agreement with him. We now have the best name in mountain bikes and the best name in road bikes under the Trek umbrella.
