Bike-Pro has occasional openings

Experienced people for our service/repair/bike assembly department.

They should have at least 1 year (apprentice) or 3 years (journeyman) of service department experience in the bicycle industry and come versed in the technical aspects of aftermarket parts and their compatibilities. Racing experience is not required and actually this job requires working weekends.

We are located an hour north of San Francisco in the Redwood Empire / Sonoma/Napa Wine Country area of Califronia. There is great riding most of the year and it never snows here because we are just 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean. However snow skiing is available in the Reno/Tahoe area 3 hours away with Spring skiing lasting at Mt Rose until May.

Pay rate will be comensurate with skill level and experience. (It would likely start around $8 per hr for apprentice/$10 per hr for journeyman) What we seek are mature committed people with a personal affection for bicycles.

This is rare case where someone can work at a store with a high amount of work on custom and high end bikes. We build bikes for people from all corners of the globe, using some of the most exotic, desirable components which build easily. Work here is guaranteed to raise anyone's level of expertise.
