Ringle Hub Skewers

RINGLEƒ CAM TWIST MOUNTAIN SKEWERS

The market has become saturated with all kinds of other machined quick release while RinglŽ still justifiably out sells them all. These are the original from which all other machined from rod or billet skewers have found their success. RinglŽ axle skewers have become the most popular replacement skewer set, we have ever sold. They have now become the de facto standard that all skewer sets are judged by. The reasons are, the unrealistically high quality they are made to, the simplicity of design, and the fact that they work so well. Now, the specifics. From what we have been able to learn, everything in the skewer set is machined, though it would be simpler and far less expensive to cast, or even extrude many of the aluminum parts. The lever piece is machined aluminum that is drilled through the lever with three graduating in size holes to reduce weight, and then bright dipped and anodized. The lever works by building the rotating cam into the external structure of the lever. The cam shape forces a lightweight, machined aluminum retention nut into contact with the fork end/drop-out piece and cinches the skewer. The nut is cleanly, machined aluminum with serrations for drop- out grip and a recessed groove that a rubber O-ring sits in, so you have excellent finger grip on the nut. The volute springs are made of round spring steel wire. The piece in the lever that holds and fastens the threaded rod, (pivot pin) is made of stainless steel. The front mountain style skewer weighs 48 grams. The rear mountain skewer weighs 54 grams. They are available in Black, Silver, Red, or Blue. Specify color.

RINGLEƒ Ti STIX MOUNTAIN SKEWERS

The RingleŽ Ti Stix Skewer set is mechanically the same as the Cam Twist Mountain set, in design and manufacturing, except in three respects. The threaded rod, joining the lever and the nut, is made of Titanium. Secondly, the lever itself has been made lighter, by milling away nearly two thirds of the depth of the lever in the area of the holes that are drilled through. Thirdly, there is more than just 4 colors available. The front skewer weighs 40 grams, the rear skewer weighs 42 grams. The Ti Stix sets are made in nine colors, Blue, Black, Gold, Green, Grey, Lavender, Red, Silver, or Tie-Dye. Made in USA.

14-39-QRS- (Color-B-BK-G-GN-GY-L-R-S-TD / T) $64.99

RINGLƒE CAM TWIST ROAD RACING SKEWERS

The RingleŽ MK-1 Road Racing Skewer set is mechanically the same as the Cam Twist Mountain set, in design and manufacturing, except in the area, on the lever, where the holes exist on the Cam Twist type. Using an external cam design, the lever hole area, on the MK-1 skewer, is one large, milled out, oblong hole. They weigh a little less. The front MK-1 skewer weighs 47 grams, the rear weighs 52 grams. They are available in Black or Silver anodized aluminum. Made in USA.

14-39-R- (Color-BK-S) $42.99

RINGLEƒ TI STIX ROAD RACING SKEWERS

The RingleŽ MK-1 Titanium Road Racing Skewer set is mechanically the same as the MK-1. They weigh a little less, because there is a Titanium threaded rod that the skewer is built around. The front MK-1 Titanium skewer weighs 39 grams, the rear weighs 41 grams. They are available in Black, Lavender, or Silver anodized aluminum. Made in USA.

14-39-R- (Color-BK-S-L / T) $64.99
