BIKE-PRO ALERT

Notice From Our Service Department

Girvin 955, 855 & Animal

Girvin Inc., has informed us that the World Cup
models or their bike line (955, 855 & Animal) is still
encountering some difficulties keeping the rear suspension
tight on the bikes. If and when the bolt holding the spring
assembly comes loose, it can shear causing rear suspension
failure. This is not a problem if the bolt is kept tight,
especially during the first few rides.

Owners of these bikes should tighten the bolt mid-way thru
their first ride and after the first few rides. There is a
break-in period for the assembly that holds the rear triangle.
The bolt seats into a recess and initial riding works
it slightly, causing it to loosen. It will need to be re-tightened.
