Blue & Fire Balls are the Paul version of the micro machined seat binder. At bolt ends are machined from aluminum rod spheres that are 15.8mm in diameter. One of the balls is drilled to recess a bolt head and permit the bolt shank through to the other ball, which is drilled and tapped with threads for the bolt to anchor into. The bolt has 6mm by 1mm pitched threads, is 45mm long, has a 5mm hex fitting and weighs 6 1/2 grams. A steel lock washer holds the threaded ball in place while the bolt is turned into it. The Balls binder can tighten as narrow as 10.3mm or as wide as 27.5mm. The aluminum balls are anodized Blue or Red (Fire) and it weighs 14 grams.
