Litespeed Blade TT Road Frame

The Blade Time Trial frame that has the distinction of been the fastest production bike built and the number 1 choice of the 1996 Olympic Games.

The tubing set has custom made, Aerodynamically "slippery" tubing for the head, down, seat tube and seat stays. These bladed tubes are made from the stiffer Ti 6Al-4V The bladed tubes have a larger weld contact area and build a much stiffer and stronger frame.

The top tube, seat and the chainstays are made of the more ductile Ti 3Al-2.5V tubing.

This frame uses the smaller lighter 650c diameter wheels and has an agressive forward position 73/78 degree head/seat tube geometry.

It uses a braze-on front derailleur, a 27.2mm post, and actually has external cable routing.

The shifter bosses, bottle cage bosses, drop-outs, brake bridge, seat post binder assembly and the 68mm B/B shell are machined from 6AL-4V Ti plate or rod stock then TIG welded with the tubes.

Available in 5 sizes (stand over height) 50cm (71.5) - 52cm (72.7cm) - 54cm (74.7cm) - 56cm (76.7cm) - 58cm (78.7cm). The frame weight averages 3.69 pounds.
